Sincerest Sympathy

Gerald Stuart (Bumpy) Bowlin
1935 - 2007
The Miniature Horse Association of Nova Scotia members send their deepest and most sincere condolences to the entire Bowlin family. Gerald was truly the icon of miniature horses in the Maritimes. He was known for his deep and obvious passion for his horses and, above all, the warmth and love that he shared with his entire family. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him.

As you all know Bumpy was loved by all and touched many lives daily. The love of his life, Alice, was also his target for many of his teasing and pranks.

His sense of humour and jokes could always ignite laughter and in many cases cause predicaments for himself. He had a story for everyone he met and a twinkle in his eye and grin on his face.

He was our teacher, advisor, mentor, confidant, stock broker, director, husband, father, grandfather, buddy, and friend.

His true passion and love came from his time on the farm with his girls and grandchildren. Watching them grow and develop into the individuals they became made him the proudest. He sat for hours watching them train and drive their horses.

His kindness, generosity, warm smile and the memories he has left with us, we thank him for.

Love
Alice and the family
